Six years ago this month at the age of 47 I was awarded my master’s degree. I still have so much that I want to accomplish for God before I sit down or lie down, fruit that remains for God and my family long after I’m gone…do you?
But, some days the work can make you so tired.
That’s why you have to recognize when it’s time to stop and thank God for what He has allowed you to accomplish…
And encourage yourself by celebrating yourself!
If no one else notices, rewards, or celebrates you and you find it getting you down…
Stop and do something to encourage yourself by celebrating yourself while giving God glory. Remember, you can’t love anyone else properly until you learn to love yourself…
Mark 12:30-31 (NKJV)
30 And you shall (A)love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ [a]This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: (B)‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than (C)these.”
If you stop and celebrate yourself, someone else will join you.
