WHO DO YOU HATE BUT WON’T ADMIT IT TO YOURSELF…

Most of the time it’s because their perceived ‘values’ are totally opposite of yours.

It could be that they support a cause, sometimes passionately, a cause that you’re totally against.

They could have hurt, betrayed, abused, neglected, or mistreated you or someone you love.

It may be a world leader, an enemy or a relative.

There are countless ways that the devil can manipulate us into ‘strongly disliking’ someone. Their actions or words may make hatred almost seem justifiable…but God forbids that we hate anyone. He even insists that we pray for those who mistreat us and look for ways to bless them…

Matthew 5:43-48 (NKJV)

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 [a]But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your [b]brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the [c]tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

President Trump…

President Obama…

Louis Farrakhan…

Al Sharpton…

An uncle…

A bully.

The fact is that when someone does something bad enough to convince us to hate them…that’s all the devil wanted.

One of the greatest lies that we tell ourselves is that we don’t hate anyone.

BE BLESSTIFIED!

  1. I struggled with someone for a long, long time, and thought I was justified, because, after all, they did that to me. Then, I struggled with repenting for what I thought of them. God interrupted my pity-party program and said, “I put up with Noah for 500 years before he found my grace, and you can’t forgive for a day, or a year?” You know, immediately, that made sense, and right there, my hatred just went away. God has a way to wake us up, if we let him. Very good message brother. God is using you for sure. Hallelujah!
