WHAT SONG DESCRIBES YOUR QUARANTINE TIME TOGETHER?

Music is a gift from God, especially as we spend hours, days, weeks and months together during quarantine. Without music in our lives, life would be ALL TALK!

As many people are complaining about getting on each other’s nerves, in spite of the circumstances, even after being married over 32 years…

WE LOVE THIS TIME TOGETHER!

With four of us together in the house, we make sure we use every room in the house. We have never spent this much time enjoying hanging out in our garage.

But, you don’t stay married over 32 years without making sure you make time for romance, which can be very challenging when the other people in the house can’t really leave the house for an extended period of time. When they can pop up at your room at anytime. When they can holler your name at any time…”Hey Daaaaaddddyyyy!” “Hey Maaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Nevertheless, we still have to make time for love! That’s why the most common phrase that’s come out of mouths during the quarantine is the title of one of our favorite Teddy Pendergrass songs…

“CLOSE THE DOOR!”

Isaiah 26:20  (NKJV)

20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
And shut your doors behind you;
Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,
Until the indignation is past.

BE BLESSTIFIED!

  1. LOL!!! This is good. It’s just been the two of us for months – actually my husband had to self quarantine in January due to health issues….But we had a few exciting road trips to see doctors and then for surgery out of town, then to be with my mom who was on her death bed, then to her graveside service – all out of state. But in between, it’s just been the two of us. Now that his health has returned, we are cherishing this alone time – but it will end soon when we have our grandsons for TWO months!!!! So I need to copy these verse and let us start sharing with with them!!!
