It’s okay to arm yourself, but please remember this…
If your gun is polished, but you’re bible is dusty…You’re underarmed!

Nor shall my sword save me.

A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. 17 A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,
2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV)
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

As Americans, we are schizophrenic when it comes to this. On one hand, we say God will protect us and on the other we say that while holding a gun. This is NOT the story of Gideon and thus, we speak out of both sides of our mouth. I am guilty of this as well.

So true my brother. Jesus allowed His disciples to carry weapons, but we know what happened the one time one them used one in His presence.

So true. It is one thing to trust in God in battle. Take yesterday, here in Florida. If they shot my kid, I would be after that bastard. Sorry, but that is the ‘human; coming out in me. I have three girls and two boys. Kill me, and I’ll forgive you.
