FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO TOMORROW…

wp-1499365099901.
Don’t worry about tomorrow if you don’t trust God with today. maj

There may be some reason that you aren’t looking forward to or may even be dreading tomorrow. It could be because of challenges in your relationship(s), on your job, your health. It could be that your paycheck will not be enough to take care of your obligations. It may be a promise you made that you already know you can’t fulfill. You may have robbed Peter and still don’t have enough to pay Paul. You may be separated from loved ones and support.

It may be the expected or the unexpected.

I’m not here to promise a miracle if you share this post.

I’m not even promising tomorrow will be better or even arrive.

God hasn’t promised us tomorrow…but He has given us today.

That’s why He said…

Matthew 6:34 (NKJV)

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

If you have the strength or means to read this post or have it read to you, then God has abundantly blessed you.

In fact, no matter how much or how little money, food, clothing, strength or hope you have, He’s given you more than enough for today.

Those days in your past that you have dreaded, even if they were as ‘bad’ as you expected…you’re still here.

The truth is that God is sovereign to do what He pleases with each day and each person He made.

He loves us, and no matter how bad it may seem, He’s working all things together for our good…

Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The fact is either we trust Him or we don’t. Don’t worry about tomorrow if you don’t trust God with today.

Reach down inside and praise God and tell Him you love Him and trust Him with today.

If you don’t know what to say, I suggest…

Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)

This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

BE BLESSTIFIED!

  1. I can’t lie to God, so I’m not going to lie to you: I don’t understand why He’s allowing me to continue to suffer. Two years-ago, I had to flee an abusive man, who kicked, shoved and sexually abused me, as well. I was deathly afraid of leaving him, and it actually became more dangerous after leaving, as he threatened my daughter’s life, too. Since leaving, he’s now destroyed me financially, and now I live in poverty, surviving off SSDI for MS and Thyroid cancer. The divorce was finally settled in Dec, but only because he threatened to file bankruptcy, which is legal, unfortunately. Even w/ no-contact, he’s using other means of getting at me, like having Geico call to say he’s trying to remove my name from the house insurance before it’s refinanced or sold. He failed at that venture, but it’s always something. Honestly, I pray everyday for God to just go ahead and take me. I’m not going to commit suicide, but I’m tired of being in pain, and now bedridden. I had to stop exercising after breathing became difficult. No, we’re not promised tomorrow, and I get that. But, living on earth trying to “soldier on” is far from easy. W/ the current illegal invasion, trying to get help is useless, even though I worked hard as an RN as an American citizen. I know our Vets are in the same boat, and it infuriates me that they are being ignored….treated worse, even. Yes, I pray, but it’s becoming more difficult. I mostly cry-out to God in agony. Why won’t He just take me home like I beg Him to do?

    1. It breaks my heart to hear how you’re suffering. All I can say is that if God still has you here, it’s a reason that He’s trusting you with this level of suffering. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that He gives you relief , sustained peace, and give you some clear answers to the your WHY. God bless you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
