WHEN YOU FEEL YOUR SOUL IS ‘BLEEDING OUT’…

When you’re hurting but not in pain,

When your head is clear but you feel insane,

When you’re fast asleep, but you get no rest,

When a constant heaviness is in your chest,

There’s people all around, but you feel alone,

Music in the air, but you hear no song,

They try to comfort you, but you’re not at ease.

The air is fresh, but you can’t breathe,

Your soul is bleeding, and the flow is profuse,

The enemy whispers in your year, “What’s the use?”

When you feel no strength remains,

Pray for God’s peace, and trust Him with your pain.

Think of everything He’s already brought you through,

Cast all of your cares on Him, for God cares for you.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (NKJV)

⁶ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, ⁷ casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
