It doesn’t take rocket science to see the fact that wearing a mask correctly can help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Many people claim however, that when local, and state governments require wearing a mask in public, that this minor inconvenience (unless you have respiratory problems) is ‘taking away their rights’!
Really?
Requiring the public to give up a freedom in one area for the sake of safety is putting our freedom at risk?
If that’s true then let’s get rid of…
TRAFFIC LIGHTS: “I should be free to stop and go whenever I get ready!”
SEAT BELTS: “No one can tell me what to do in my car!”
SPEED LIMITS: “I should be able to drive as fast as I want, when I want and where I want!”
CAR INSURANCE: “If I can afford to pay when I’m liable, I shouldn’t be required to have insurance on my vehicle.”
DRIVER’S LICENSE: “If I know how to drive, I should be free to drive without the state telling me I have to have my license!”
PROFESSIONAL LICENSES: “If I know how to do it, I should be able to do it without someone overseeing me to make sure I’m doing it right!”
THOU SHALT NOT KILL: “If someone pisses me off, I should be free to handle it!”
Okay, I think you get the picture.
People whining about a mask is kind of like a man coming home from work and snapping at his family because of a bad day on the job. His family isn’t the real problem…what happened at work is.
Even the bible teaches us that we should be very careful in how we handle our freedom…
1 Corinthians 10:23 (NKJV)
23 All things are lawful [a]for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things [b]edify.
Remember, there’s no ‘U’ in the word ‘FOOLISHNESS’. Let’s keep it that way.

God bless you! I couldn’t get the Reblog tab to work, which has happened to me before. Frustrating. But this time, instead of giving up, I refreshed the page and then it worked. 🙂

Regardless of what may claim about his/her constitutional freedoms, one does not have the right to place others at risk. What did the pastor say to the 100 voice unmasked choir? “Let us spray!”
