Marriage and music are both gifts from God. Both are to be enjoyed with balance…
Love songs, even suggestive love songs, are just as appropriate to ‘set the mood’ for romance and intimacy within marriage as songs of worship are appropriate to ‘set the mood’ for worship and intimacy with God…
…Because, you can’t get romantic while listening to “Amazing Grace”. And, if you can, I’m worried about you.
Proverbs 5:18-19 (NKJV)
18 Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice with (A)the wife of your youth.
19 (B)As a loving deer and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
And always be [a]enraptured with her love.
Song of Solomon 1:1-3 (CJB)
2 Let him smother me with kisses from his mouth,
for your love is better than wine.

BE BLESSTIFIED!
I once knew a lady who had torn Song of Solomon from her Bible as she deemed it pornographic. The poor old girl never knew about her own fantastic design nor how to use it, and this is why so many divorce. As they find the marriage a mundane monotony instead of it being an ecstatic flight of fantasy through the galaxies. I saw a need and tried my very untrained hand at writing, so here goes – delete if offensive pleeeeezzz. I don’t want to embarrass but to educate. Jesus took great care in making nice toys, so let’s learn where the buttons are and how to press them. https://bloggeratii.wordpress.com/2020/11/06/saving-someones-marriage/

It really worries me that folks don’t live to the full and then that leads to infidelity, broken relationships, that purple frustration or some kind of animosity. Then they miss out while LIFE passes by.
