Innocence…Virtue… Holiness are not a weaknesses
Guilt… Sin… Wickedness are not trophies.
Romans 16:19 (NKJV)
19 For (A)your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be (B)wise in what is good, and [a]simple concerning evil.
But, too many time you hear Christians say with pride instead of regret…
“I’ve done it all…”
“I’ve seen it all…”
“I’ve been there and done that…”
“I haven’t been saved all my life…”
Don’t make me go back to my old self…”
Too many people feel they are missing out on life if they aren’t doing wrong in the eyes of God.
They feel men aren’t being men if they aren’t ‘sowing their wild oats’ or ready to be violent, or
They feel women are weak if they are modest, humble.
It’s seems that so many people today are anxious to exchange their innocence for behavior they will later regret…hopefully.
Psalm 19:13 ESV
Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
