HOW VIRTUAL LEARNING IS A BLESSING FOR THE BULLIED…

Nothing deep here. My daughter was bullied years ago.

I remember the days she begged us to let her stay home from school.

I remember the joy and anticipation of each new year quickly crushed by her peers.

I remember my wife and I feeling powerless.

So, yes COVID-19 is horrible and my heart goes out to everyone who has lost family members and who are struggling to recover.

But, the fact that many schools are offering online, virtual learning means some bullied children have been delivered from their ‘oppressors’.

Let’s pray that they are able to now focus on getting a good, safe education and use it to make this world a better place.

Do you know a child that’s excited about NOT having to go back to school?

Matthew 18:5-7 (ESV)

“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,[a] it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

BE BLESSTIFIED!

  1. I was horribly bullied in school, during my seventh and eighth grade years. So yes, I can imagine how happy some kids are not to have to go to school.

Some of these kids though, may have a home life that’s just as bad or even worse than the bullying at school. I was one of those kids. My bullying was mainly due to the fact that I was walking around literally in a numb daze, because of the horrors going on at home. Some of it was due to the fact that my clothes were old, ragged, and didn’t fit me at all, because my parents were spending their money on alcohol and cigarettes instead of on necessities like shoes, clothes and enough food. I pray for the children in this situation.

  2. Awesome post! And I can so relate. I was bullied in school for six long years. It got so bad that I attempted suicide at the age of 14 and almost didn’t make it. You can imagine my excitement when a door finally opened for me and I finally changed schools during my senior year! My heart goes out to your daughter. I know exactly how she feels! God bless you all!
