No, I would probably look at that idiot and demand immediate respect and that all his sins and wrongs were changed in an instant at the risk of life imprisonment. That’s the way we’d be if we were not us but they were.

Too many times do we hold others to a higher degree of accountability

We are the same with out kids. We demand obedience and offer many harsh penalties if they fail to submit. Yet, if someone corrects us,we cry foul and say we are adults and should be provided respect even though we are wrong.
