Isn’t it interesting how some of the most liberating things we can say are the most difficult. Just a few words, sometimes just one or two words can restore relationships. How many of your relationships are estranged or have you lost because you refused to say a few words. How much have lost because you were too proud to say…
“I’m wrong…”
“I’m sorry…”
“I don’t know…”
“I forgot…”
“I lied…
“I didn’t think of it…”
“I wasn’t thinking….”
“I lost it…”
“I was irresponsible…”
“I know I let you down…”
“You were right…”
“Forgive me…”
“I need you…”
“I love you…”
“I repent of my sins…”
Can you think of any others?
Living this one powerful verse in reference to husbands and wives can not only save and restore marriage, but all of our relationships.
Ephesians 5:21 (NKJV)
21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.[a]
And, even if the relationship isn’t saved or restored…a few words can immediately help you feel free.
BE BLESSTIFIED!
Words can harm, but they can also heal. I once heard to make your words sweet on case you have to eat them.
