There are days and seasons when you feel that your whole world is falling apart, crumbling all around you.
Yes, you’re thankful but that’s why it’s so frustrating. Even though you know EVERYTHING that could possibly go wrong isn’t going wrong there are times when you feel you’re getting your ‘unfair’ share.
Your home…
Your relationships…
Your financing…
Your health…
Your job or career…
Your reputation…
Your life…
May all seem to just unravel at once and not long after you wake up with new hope for each new day… a new challenge slaps you right in the face as soon as you get off your knees from praying.
No one else understands. Everyone has more advice than encouragement.
Have you ever been there?
Are you there right now?
Let me give you one encouraging reminder…
When everything seems to be falling apart all around you, that means that you’re still standing!
When everything is falling apart around you…YOUR STILL STANDING.
Ephesians 6:13-18 (NKJV)
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
Remember, that God never promised to be fair… https://beblesstified.com/2018/07/29/why-someone-is-fantasizing-about-you-2/
Keep standing my friend!
BE BLESSTIFED!
Nice thoughts on standing but I am certain that God is indeed more than fair though to our way of thinking it often doesn’t seem like it. Blessings brother…

Amen! I’m there every darn day it seems. Still standing, still smiling, most of the time anyway. 🙂

My mom used to say, “Life is tough and then you die.” Thankfully, for the Christian eternal life in Christ starts!

This reminded me of what my pastor would say: God never promised life would be fair; He only promised to be there when it wasn’t.
Again, a post that is quite timely for me now. I do ask the Lord to let me have a season of rest from troubles even if it be ever so short a time. And I thank Him for manifesting His presence even in the smallest of things while I go through this very scary trial. He is our ever present help in trouble. Praises! \o/
God bless you, Brother, amen!

Hi Check out this Bible Verse.“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you.”
II Corinthians 4:7-12 NKJV

The armor of God, important stuff for the Christian to know and meditate on! Thanks for sharing.
Don’t really hear all that much teaching on this subject.
Peace to you
