In Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus doesn’t only ENCOURAGE that we DON’T WORRY…He COMMANDS that we DON’T WORRY.
Worry damages our…

and Worship.
Worry is like kryptonite to faith.
Worry is the water that can extinguish the fire of our faith.
Worry is a sign of lack of faith, and the lack of faith, and a lack of faith is a sign there is a lack of trusting in God which disappoints Him.
Our spirits aren’t at peace when we worry, in fact, worry is a state of DIS-EASE. Worry is a spiritual disease that we ALLOW to plague our souls.
It’s a spiritual disease that can cause physical harm. Worry produces unnecessary stress. It has even been medically proven that stress weakens the immune system (apa.org) and has an adverse affect on our health.
Worry is a huge distraction to our worship. Just as two bodies of mass can’t occupy the same place at the same time, we can’t think about two things at the same time.
The enemy wants you WORRYING WHEN YOU SHOULD BE WORSHIPING…
How many times has worry distracted your worship?
How many beautiful days have you needlessly wasted worrying?
What did worrying change?
Jesus even says in…
Matthew 6:27, (NKJV)
“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”(NKJV).
And, the New International Version even says, “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
The next time you begin to worry…immediately begin WORSHIPING and PRAISING GOD.
Tell Him you trust Him, tell Him you love Him, and you know all things are working TOGETHER for your good (Romans 8:28).
Don’t let worry steal your…

Worship is the cure for worry…
Let’s touch and agree in the Spirit of God today against the spirit of worry in the name of Yeshua, the Son of God!

Hallelujah, these are encouraging words.
I just read the following statement in an advertisement for a book called Anxious for Nothing by Max Lucado:
“Philippians 4:6-7 … is the most highlighted passage of any book on the planet, according to Amazon:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

I believe it was about a year ago, in the midst of my worrying about the future as my husband was dying of cancer, when I read something you said about great faith, that it meant having complete confidence in God and His Word. I’ve remembered that every time worry and fretting would try to consume me. Thanks much, precious brother! God is so very good to His children. \o/
