Genesis 21:14 (NKJV)
14 So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water; and putting it on her shoulder, he gave it and the boy to Hagar, and sent her away. Then she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba.
We all know that Isaac favored Esau, which means that Jacob had to notice.
Genesis 25:28 (NKJV)
28 And Isaac loved Esau because he ate of his game, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
Even if your father wasn’t everything (or anything) he should have been…
He is still the man GOD CHOSE to bring YOU into the world!

Amen! Fathers are irreplaceable and amazing. Sometimes you have to really work hard on that gratitude thing, because some dads don’t make it so easy. On the other hand we do have an amazing heavenly Father who loves His spiritual orphans, too.
Love my pastor, he says all men are fathers. Even if you don’t have kids of your own, be about the business of fathering and brothering people. It’s a wonderful thing.
