One day years ago I was listening to a man tell me the most interesting story of something that happened to him.
I was responding…
“Are you serious?”
“That’s so cool?”
Then I remembered…
Wait minute! I forgot who I’m talking to!

Everyone who knows him knows that he loves to tell wild stories and lies, and he knows they know it.
The point? Never forget who you’re dealing with.
The bible tells us the devil is a liar, and the father of lies.
John 8:44 (NKJV)
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
The bible tells us that we aren’t ignorant of the devil’s schemes.
2 Corinthians 2:11 (NKJV)
11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Don’t listen to the lies the devil tries to tell you about yourself.
Don’t listen to the lies the devil tries to tell you about others.
Don’t listen to the lies the devil tries to tell you about God!
When the devil tries to lie to you, tell him what God told you!
Psalm 139:14 (NKJV)
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
Read God’s word EVERY DAY so you can recognize the devil for who he is and how he operates.
Don’t be surprised when chaos jumps off in your life, even when you haven’t necessarily done anything wrong.
And, when you know your mind and heart are being manipulated either through your own thinking, or through someone else around you – never forget who you’re dealing with!
Remember Satan doesn’t alway come through and enemy, but can come through a trusted friend.
Luke 22:3-23 (NKJV)
Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve.
