WATCH OUT FOR ‘NICE’ PEOPLE…

Galatians 5:22-23

² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, KINDNESS, goodness, faithfulness,²³ gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

One of my favorite groups is The O’Jays! Their smooth soulful music is definitely a part of the soundtrack of my life. Their 1972 single, “Back Stabbers” written by Leon Huff, Gene McFadden and John Whitehead, (I was only 3-years old when it was released) is one of my all time favorites and just as most of their other songs – the lyrics are very profound…

There’s a reason that KINDNESS (From Greek word Crestotes in Galatians 5:22) is a Fruit of the Spirit and not NICENESS. According to “Strong’s Concordance” KINDNESS denotes ones disposition and doesn’t necessarily refer to ACTS of goodness. Strong’s Concordance goes on to say…
