WHAT IF EVERYONE DIRECTED THEIR HATRED WHERE GOD ALLOWS THEM TO…

We were all created in God’s image, which means we are able to have His character… His attributes… His emotions.

One of those emotions is hatred.

God hates evil. He hates evil behavior. He hates sin. He hates the works of the devil.

God hates sin, but He loves the sinner.

He hates the behavior and not the person.

What if we directed our hatred to what God hates instead of towards each other?

Think of how much enemy we waste hating each other.

Think of how many people we hate but won’t admit to ourselves that we do.

How much stress can we relieve hating what God allows us to hate?

The enemy…

Sin…

Poverty…

Homelessness…

Oppression…

Pride…

Arrogance…

Complaining…

Do a study of the things that God hates.

Ask Him to help you direct your hatred where it belongs.

WHO HAS THE DEVIL CONVINCED YOU TO HATE (BUT YOU WON’T ADMIT IT TO YOURSELF)…

Proverbs 6:16-19 (NKJV

16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to [a]Him:
17 A[b] proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

Psalm 97:10 (NKJV)

10 You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

HOW I’VE RECEIVED EQUAL RIGHTS & EQUAL WRONGS…

In my life I’ve received the best and worst of every race equally.

It just proves that you can’t trust anyone simply based on race, but only as they submit to the love, word and will of God through Jesus Christ.

That’s what Jesus did…

John 2:24-25 (NLT)

24 But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people. 25 No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.

MARRIAGE FUN: EVERYBODY PLAYS THE FOOL SOMETIMES…

One key to a strong marriage is to never forget how to have fun together…even in moments that aren’t so funny. Every now and then my wife will say something to me or look at me with an expression that clearly says, “Fool”, even though she didn’t say it. The “Fool” is silent, jus like the “h” in honest, or the ‘p” in psychology.

Don’t let those moments ‘go south’! Turn them into a fun memory. Check out the video from our “SONday Blessing” series of videos promoting fun, healthy strong marriages through our mutual love of ‘Old School’ music. It’s the perfect example of being called a fool, with the word fool ‘remaining silent’. We ask you to go find these beautiful classic songs and add them to your playlists. This one features The Main Ingredient’s, “Everybody Plays the Fool” with the late great Cuba Gooding Sr.

If it blesses you, you can see more videos and music on my wife’s Facebook fan page…

Feel free to share it if you like. We just want to make marriage look fun and cool in an age that so many are failing.

We celebrate our 30th anniversary on Septermber 25th. So we encourage you to enjoy your lives together and learn to make the most of every moment. God has commanded that we do…

Ecclesiastes 9:9 (NKJV)

Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun.

WHEN WE MISMANAGE OUR BLESSINGS…

Remember when Yeshua fed over 5000 people with just two fish and five loaves of bread that they had more left over than what they had in the beginning…
Matthew 14:13-21 (NKJV)

13 When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. 14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. 15 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”

16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. 20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained.

The LORD performed this miracle so they would have over flow from what seemed to be not enough.

So many times in our lives we may feel that we don’t have ‘enough’.

But, we need to…

  1. Be thankful for what God has provided.
  2. Pray for the wisdom to effectively manage what He had provided.
  3. Have the discipline to manage what God has provided according to His wisdom.
