THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU…BUT IS THAT GOOD OR BAD?

Acts 13:36  (NKJV)

“For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;

The bible states that David served his own generation by the will of God. There will never be another David. There will never be another Peter. There will never be another Paul. There will never be another Mary.

These people fulfilled the purpose for their lives and left their mark on history…on their families…on the lives of those in which they interacted. But, there are innumerable people who never had their names mentioned in the bible, but had an impact on establishing our faith. They also had an impact on their families, their villages and communities, their nation…and the world. Some people’s influence is greater than others, but everyone has influence. Sometimes it’s good…Sometimes not so good…Sometimes bad…Sometimes very bad.

We all know people in our lives who can and will never be replaced. Those who have ‘gone on’ and are greatly missed. And, others who have ‘gone on’, and even though you wished them no ill will, you don’t miss them so much.

And, the truth is, there are people so evil, so parasitic, so dysfunctional, so negative, so destructive that the world is better off without them. I won’t call any names, but we all know of figures in history that can’t be replaced…and it’s a good thing.

THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU…IS THAT GOOD OR BAD?

What value are you to the kingdom of God. How strong is the influence in your family, but immediate and extended? What affect do you have on those in your life? What ripple effects result from your day-to-day interactions? Good? Bad? Evil? Positive? Negative? Constructive? Destructive? Good Fruit? Bad Fruit?

John 15:5 (NKJV)

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

 John 15:8  (NKJV)

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

 John 15:16  (NKJV)

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

 Matthew 7:17 (NKJV)

17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

Many people view bearing fruit carnally, as if the accumulation of wealth confirms one’s faithfulness…this IS NOT what Jesus is talking about. To the contrary…

Matthew 3:7-8 (NKJV)

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,

…Our good fruit is the work we do to build the Kingdom of God. The hearts, minds and souls we turn to God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The positive influence that we have on the lives of others and the world. In short…

IS THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE AFTER YOU’VE BEEN HERE?

IS THE WORLD A WORSE PLACE AFTER YOU’VE BEEN HERE?

IS THE WORLD NO DIFFERENT AFTER YOU’VE BEEN HERE?

Or on a more personal level…

ARE PEOPLE BETTER OFF HAVING INTERACTED WITH YOU?

ARE PEOPLE WORSE OFF HAVING INTERACTED WITH YOU?

ARE PEOPLE NO DIFFERENT HAVING INTERACTED WITH YOU?

Please be the unique ‘you’ that God created! Even twins are not alike, Jacob and Easu proved that (Genesis 25:19-34; 27: 1-40)

Do you!

Be you!

But remember, you are not your own…you were bought with a price…

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NKJV)

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Be the unique person God created you to be to His glory.

There will never be another you. It’s up to you as to whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

BE BLESSTIFIED!
