ARE YOU FOLLOWING GOD FROM A DISTANCE?

Matthew 26:58  (NKJV)

58 But Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest’s courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end.

Even though Peter followed from a distance…he still followed. Even though he denied Him, he didn’t forsake Him.

Be encouraged even if you aren’t where you should be in your relationship with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If you have allowed distractions to create distance between you and God.

Even though you may be following from a distance…

Not praying as much as you should.

Not reading His Word as much as you should.

Not attending worship as much as you should.

Caught up in a distracting weakness.

Just discrouaged, but…

At least you haven’t forsaken Him.

Jesus restored Peter and He is anxious to restore you too.

John 21:15-17 (NKJV)

15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah,[a] do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” 16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[b] do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[c] do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

God hasn’t moved…you have, and He’s ready for you to follow close behind Him

Today is a good day to come back close again.

Psalm 63:8 (NKJV)

My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.

BE BLESSTIFIED!
