IN CASE YOU MISSED IT…

A few years ago I was at a funeral in my home town and while there, I visited my grandmother’s grave with my family. It had been a while, so as I approached the grave I broke down. As I wept on my knees, I felt my son’s hand (he was 19 at the time), gently touch and rub my back. That gave me so much comfort and I will NEVER forget that simple gesture.
There are few things as powerful as a gentle touch. Sometimes you can communicate your heart and show your love with a touch in a way words can’t communicate. When you touch someone, you touch their heart. A touch shows intimacy and connection. That’s why so many times when Jesus could have healed with a WORD, He still chose to TOUCH.
