MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BATTLES ARE GOD’S BATTLES…

WEEKEND REBLOG IN CASE YOU MISSED IT…

BE BLESSTIFIED!

2 Chronicles 20:15(ESV)

15 And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.

ARE YOU IN A STRUGGLE? ARE YOU IN A BATTLE?
Whether your battle be physical, financial, relational, emotional, or social it’s also SPIRITUAL….”For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 (ESV). All battles are spiritual. And many times as we dig in we proclaim what Jahaziel proclaimed through the Spirit of God, “The battle isn’t mine, it’s the Lord”. WHEN A BLESSING OF MORE WOULD BE A BURDEN…

The owner of this backpack was asking for handouts at an exit off the interstate. He has everything he owns in that backpack. Let’s assume for the sake of my point that his needs are legitimate. If so, then this man is in a situation where a BLESSING would be a BURDEN. He only has enough room for what he can carry. If someone blessed him with clothes, shoes, coats, a sofa, a bed, etc., there’s NOTHING he could do with it. He has no where to put it.

If you are disappointed because you don’t have everything you want, stop and give God some praise if He’s blessed you with ROOM FOR MORE.

If you don’t have room for more right now, stop and give God some praise that in your current state, YOUR CUP IS RUNNING OVER.

And, please be sure to pray for the young man with the backpack. Pray that God blesses him with ROOM FOR MORE, and the wisdom to manage it.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 (NKJV)

8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
