AN OBJECT LESSON IN HOW PEOPLE WILL BE FOOLED BY THE ANTICHRIST…

This post isn’t a discussion about whether the antichrist comes before or after the return of Yeshua the Messiah, but how the stage is being set. Just as John the Baptist ‘prepared the way of the Lord’, the enemy is preparing hearts to accept his emissaries.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15
“And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”

Emissaries of the ‘evil one’ attempt to disguise themselves. The antichrist won’t deceive the people through presumptuous sins, but by appearing to care about what concerns them (an angel of light).

When you read the bible closely, the antichrist will bring what appears to be peace and prosperity before revealing who he really is. He will be a man of great boasting and arrogance, pride, insults, unrepentance, unforgiveness, accusations are all attributes of the enemy.

Pride is the FIRST mentioned of the 7 deadly sins. Israel wasn’t exiled because of the ‘heathens’ and their overt sins in the land, but because of their own idolatry, pride, compromise, hypocrisy, arrogant leaders, and yes denying justice to the oppressed (Isaiah Chapters 1 and 10).

Yeshua consistently rebuked the Pharisees for their cherry-picked sins, hypocrisy, self-righteousness and the attitude they owned the narrative as to which sins concerned God the most.

Many well-meaning believers who claim to ‘vote the bible’ justify pride, forsake God’s day of rest, celebrate paganism, teach their children that Santa Claus is omnipresent, blaspheme by calling our celebration of Jesus’s resurrection by a pagan goddess’s name, deny justice because they have decided these sins ‘aren’t a big deal’. The Apostle John said the SPIRIT of the antichrist is already here. The Apostles John and Paul said many believers will be fooled. The stage is being set for his appearance…and believers are distracted by two politicized sins, (and yes, they are sins) worshiping our economy and their guns. #ByTheirFruitsYouShallKnowThem

THE POWER OF UNITY WORKS FOR BOTH GOOD AND EVIL…

wp-1495655818348.

Notice what Jesus prayed for before He went to the cross in John 17. Notice how many times He said,”ONE”.

John 17:20-23 (NKJV)

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Now, notice how many times He said I and my father are ONE.

John 10:30 (NKJV)

30 I and My Father are one.”

Think about what who bears witness in heaven.

John 5:7 (NKJV)

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one

What did Jesus Himself say about marriage?

Mark 10:8  (NKJV)

8 and the two shall become one flesh’; [a] so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Notice that we’re told to speak the same thing and there be no divisions in our churches…

1 Corinthians 1:10 (NKJV)

10 Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

NOW…

Also notice something significant about the demons cast out of the man in Mark Chapter 5.

Mark 5:9 (NKJV)

9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”

Take note in Matthew Chapter 12 what demons do when they find a comfortable dwelling.

Matthew 12:43-45 (NKJV)

43 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

Notice what atrocities Hitler was able to accomplished by getting people to agree with His agenda.

Look at what the LBGT community has been able to accomplish contrary to the word of God by banding together in agreement.

Why?

Because no force other than God and His love is more powerful agreement.

Oneness. Agreement. Unity. Works for both GOOD and EVIL. RIGHT and WRONG.

Think about it…

Marriage…agreement.

Family…agreement.

Church…agreement.

Street gang…agreement.

Mob…agreement.

All are only successful through ONENESS. AGREEMENT. UNITY…a force so powerful, it works for good and evil.

Why do you think the devil works so hard at trying to divide people who love one another…people who have so much in common?

God is love, and satan is not (yes, lower case on purpose.)  Love covers all and conquers all…

1 Peter 4:8 (NKJV)

And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

God’s love is all powerful, but think about this…

UNITY, (AGREEMENT or ONENESS) is the only force and power that the enemy can use to try and RIVAL the power of God’s love on earth to accomplish his agenda.

That’s why in John Chapter 17, after praying for Himself, then praying for His disciples…He prayed for us (vs.20), and He prayed that we are ONE in Him and in one another.

Because other than love, there is nothing more powerful on this earth than UNITY.

So be very careful who and what you agree with!

QUESTION: DOES GOD GIVE US THE AUTHORITY TO SAY, “THE DEVIL IS A LIAR”…

chalkboard-2123965_19201315232428.jpg

I’m petitioning your thoughts based on scripture concerning something that quite honestly has me a little puzzled.

One of the greatest benefits that we have through our relationship with God through our Lord and Savior, Yeshua, Christ Jesus is power over the enemy. But, we must remember to stay in our ‘spiritual lane’. We only have that power through the authority of Jesus.

So here’s my question. Does God give us the authority to call the devil a liar?

I’ve said it. I’ve heard it preached. I’ve heard it proclaimed. I’ve heard it sung in songs, the popular phrase…

“The devil is a liar!”

But, does God give us the authority to say it on our own? In worship? When we feel confronted? When we preach? When we sing?

wp-image-245393964

Yes He is a liar. In fact, Jesus called Him the father of lies (John 8:44), but that was Jesus who said that and no one else, not even angels…

Jude 6-9 (NKJV)

6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

And, also consider this verse in 2 Peter…

2 Peter 2:4-11 (NKJV)

4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing theirlawless deeds)— 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

Now, look at what happened to men who confronted demons without the authority of Christ…

Acts 19:13-16  (NKJV)

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We[a] exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” 16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them,[c] so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Considering these scriptures, especially Jude 8-9. Even the powerful archangel Michael didn’t ‘accuse the devil but reserved that power for our Lord, by saying, “The Lord rebuke you!”

So, again that’s my question for you. Does God give us the authority to say, the popular phrase “The devil is a liar”, or are we overstepping our authority in the Lord by doing so? Should we only do as the angel Michael did and say, “The Lord rebuke you in the name of Jesus”.

I look forward to your thoughts.
