WHY THE MARK OF THE BEAST WON’T BE A CHIP, BAR CODE OR TATTOO…

Quick and to the point…

Even those who don’t believe in God have heard of it. The mark of the beast. The ‘mark’ that many will submit to showing that they have rejected Christ and accepted the antichrist.

Revelation 13:16 (KJV)

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark IN their right hand, or IN their foreheads:

The purpose of this quick post isn’t to discuss whether or not the church will still be on earth when it takes place. But, what will it actually be. This could be a long post, but I’m going to keep it short so you can digest it…and pray about it.

There are those who talk about a chip being implanted, a bar code that will be required for buying, selling and living everyday life. There are others who speak of a literal mark or tattoo on the hand and forehead. How many warnings have you heard in sermons or seen posted on social media or in sermon?

I say neither. That’s too simple. That’s too literal. Check out this verse…

Jeremiah 31:33 (NKJV)

33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Notice that God says, “I will put My law IN their minds, and write it ON their hearts.” 

If you take an x-ray, will you find actual words written on your brain or heart? Of course not.

When God places something in your mind, it affects your thinking. When He places something in your heart, it affects what’s most important to you.

It’s the same with Revelation 13:16…

“In their right hand…” In the way you do things.

“In their foreheads…” The way you think.

John told us that the spirit of the antichrist was already here way back then…

1 John 4:3 (NKJV)

3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

The spirit of the antichrist has been at work for years affecting how Christians ‘do things’ and ‘think’. Convincing us to compromise when it comes to our Lord and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ.

Here’s a quick example…think about Easter. What does the name ‘Easter’ have to do with Jesus? Nothing. What do bunnies and eggs have to do with celebrating His resurrection? Nothing. But, you can’t convince well-meaning Christians to celebrate without calling it Easter because it has been to deeply ingrained in the way they ‘do things’ and the way they ‘think’. Why not celebrate His resurrection without calling it by a pagan goddess’ name?

Think of all the ways that the enemy is convincing the people of God to compromise.

Think of how the thinking of this world is changing to accept what God has forbidden.

It’s not what you accept on your skin…it’s what you accept within.

Think about it.

BE BLESSTIFIED!

  1. I really like this post. I think there may still be some literal form, as scripture says it will be the only way to buy food, etc. But I also feel this won’t be something that Christians will be “tricked” into receiving. I believe it will be a direct yes/no choice. I agree it is a heart issue. I believe, from scripture, there will come a time when Satan is revealed. Those who do not know Christ or follow Him will fall, in 1 John (I think that’s the book) it talks about God allowing people to be blind/fall for His glory. Nonetheless, Christians shouldn’t be focused too much on the future. Instead, we do need to focus on our heart and our walk with Christ now. When that type of darkness arises, we need to be prepared in our heart, and our mind. We can only do that with Him, no need to wait. We should start now. : )

      1. No problem! I think as the body of believers we certainly need to discuss scripture, and be willing to hear each other out. That’s the only way we will learn, and grow together.

      3. Me too! As my husband and I have moved around, it takes quite a bit of time trying to go back to church searching, again, and going through a new congregation, and a new shepherd. What is being taught, and who is leading it. And not all churches are where we need to be, so we start over again. While we look for a church, I am not forsaken by the assembling of ourselves however, because I have a community I share with other believers. God has continue to help me grow no matter what. 🙂

    2. I agree with you both. People actually get confused with various signs of these times; they attribute to one what belongs to another. They need to spend more time in prayer. Jesus will direct them and He speaks through the Holy Spirit. Which brings me to another warning; it is not those who work glorious Wonders who are necessarily with God but those who go about doing the Will of theFather (in Love). It’s good to keep all this in mind, studying and meditating on what those small, seemingly contradictory lines might mean. And what they mean for us now.

  3. I am actually in full agreement with this post, and am very happy that there are others out there who see that this is not referencing a microchip. There is a lot of symbolism in the phrase “mark of the beast” alone, for if you want to understand what the mark of the beast is you should probably understand who the beast is first, than you’re well on track to decoding the meaning of the mark.

  8. Hey, Minister Aldtric Johnson, with all due respect, I would have to disagree with your interpretation that the mark of the beast is not literal. The Greek word used for “mark” is charagma which gives the meaning of something engraved or stamped. Mind you, the only way to buy food, material needs is by having identification on your body. The 666 on the body shows that, that person has chosen Satan over Christ and now belongs to the devil.

    The proof text that you used to show that the mark of the beast is not literal [Jeremiah 31:33], has nothing to do with the mark of the beast. Jeremiah 31 is talking about the law being in the person’s heart which was foretold of the coming of the Holy Spirit who was going to dwell in the hearts of the believers. The Holy Spirit is the one who gives people God’s Word and understanding. There is no parallel between Jeremiah 31 and Revelation 13 in reference to the mark of the beast.

    We must exegete any given passage correctly according to its context with other references talking about the same topic or else one will fall into the fallacy of misinterpretation like the Jehovah’s Witnesses who are experts in making pretzels out of passages in Scripture to support their agenda.

    1. I would say that your discussion is welcome here, Spain it. I think we are all trying to work out what it will be all look like or what we must be wary of. However, none of us know, do it. In the meantime, it is worth thinking about what it might be or how it could come about and making sure we understand all the correct features that it will be, according to scripture.       Last time I had a question like this pop into my mind when I was not directly thinking about it, I also received an immediate answer in my mind that I was not expecting. This time only the question alone came into my mind. So I think this is to tell us that we must pray that to God that He may help us to understand. I think it will not be easily identified. I know that we always need God’s help with these things. We must rely on Him and not on human understanding. I prayed that God would “show me” what it is. I don’t know how or when this will occur. But I do know that he answers my prayers. I trust in Him. And I wait on The Lord. This is a serious topic and should not be taken lightly; pray For the gift of discernment from the Holy Spirit .

        One thing for sure that we know according to Revelation 13. The Mark of the Beast can be analyzed as the Scripture tells us that we can calculate the number that equals to or corresponds to the Antichrist’s name. Meaning, everyone will have a visible “Mark” on their right hand or forehead which you can look at and see to calculate it.

        [Rev 13:18 Emphasis added] 18 This calls for wisdom [a person with the Holy Spirit]. Let the person who has insight calculate [a visible mark on the skin] the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

  10. Brother Al, I remember reading this back in March and liking it, because what you say here seems right to me. However… I would like to draw your attention to a really weird coincidence. On the same day that you posted this — March 26, 2020 — a patent was registered to Microsoft, which is headed by Bill Gates. The patent, issued on March 26, contains the numbers 060606.

    I learned about this from another blogger, earlier today. In googling patent 060606, I found this, among many other articles:
    “Patent WO/2020/060606 was registered on 26 March 2020. The patent application was filed by Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLC, headed by Bill Gates, back on 20 June 2019, and, on 22 April 2020, the patent was granted international status. The title of the patent is “Cryptocurrency system using body activity data”.

    Seriously weird! But, whatever happens, we can rest assured that nothing will take our God by surprise, and He is still on the throne!

  12. Amen, but the mark is already here an most know not what it is in your brain are your pass words SS number, most insert a credit card with a chip into a manchineel with their right hand. Buying with a mark. Our Money has a number isn’t Satan smart.think about this it makes sense and yes the Antichrist is here they are the ones preaching false doctrines.

  13. On Spaniardviii the mark of the beast 666 is almost every man an woman on earth look at it this way mans number is 6 Gods number is 1. Man + God = 7 the number for completion. A list man is me myself and I 666 easy math

  14. Minister, as you know, I’m not of the faith, but I have to say that this is one of the best things you’ve written. I agree. I once tried to convince Christians not to exchange gifts for Christmas and I was met with much resistance and made-up rules that associated gift giving with the three wise men. Anywho, what you’ve written makes much sense to me.

  16. I have a question, brother: How is it that these who receive the mark will not be permitted, by the ruling global government, to buy or sell anything? How will the government know your heart and mind, so they can stop you from buying or selling anywhere in the world?

    1. I’m not sure if it will be literal government control or a system that is set ‘with the mark’. For example, everyone uses the days of the week named after Roman ‘gods’. Everyone uses the Gregorian calendar and you can’t buy or sell anything without using those dates. I’m not necessarily saying that’s the mark, just illustrating how it may not be so literal as often interpreted.

      1. Happy ‘New Year’ brother (at least a better one). I considered what you argued, but, now, I am concerned. It says those who receive the mark shall have their names blotted out of the Book of Life. That would mean all the first world would be condemned to darkness and gnashing of teeth, because, just flashing a credit card, or making any electronic transaction would be reception of the mark, and it means all the free world would be blotted out of the Book of Life. Only the Bushmen of the Kalahari and remote Amazonian tribes have not received the mark, so they would make it.

      1. Agreed. But not being part of normal trading means being criminals in the eyes of the rest of society, who complies and receives the mark. Those self-trading people will be reported by those with the mark as ‘non’compliant’, and they will be incarcerated, found guilty, and, as it says, ‘beheaded for the testimony of Christ’. (Revelation 13: 15 and 20: 4) That sounds like persecution and tribulation to me. Paul told Timothy perilous times were in store. (2nd Timothy 3: 1)

Close your ears to all falsity and open only your heart to The Lord. Have you accepted God’s Seal – the Seal of The Living God? .     1. That’s why I believe we must also have the anointing of Christ. Jesus multiplied the fish and loaves; so must we at some point, when this situation arrives. The Church must be hidden in the wilderness, but with modern technology, Google Earth for example, it’s difficult to head for the hills and hide without being seen from space. It must be a spiritual existence, one of true faith in Christ, that will prevail.

  18. With all that is going on right now with these vaccine mandates, the restriction of access to travel, groceries, work, etc. It seems we are facing this now.
